ParticipantsThe participants to the MedIT Workshop are medical doctors and medical students from the major Romanian university centers, but also from other Romanian cities. The committee evaluated the candidates' previous experience in the field, as well as their practical ability to disseminate the information and to implement the ICT solutions presented within the Workshop. Romanian candidates only were considered. The results of the selection of the candicates are presented below.
Accomodation and mealsNon Cluj participants will be accomodated as follows:
Meals will be served at the University's Restaurant on no.13 Victor Babes street, at 5 minutes' walk from the MedIT conference rooms. All costs involving accommodation and meals will be covered by the organizers. For LecturersOfficial languageThe official language of the workshop is Romanian, but translation in English is available for all the foreign lecturers attending. Traveling informationForeign lecturers attending the workshop will be met at the airport in Cluj-Napoca by one of the members of the organizing committee. Foreign lecturers are expected to inform the organizers about the date and time of their arrival at the Cluj-Napoca airport. Local transport will be supported by the organizers. Oficial opening of the MedIT Workshop will take place Thursday, October 28th, 2004 at 17.00 in the Aula Magna of the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy (location: no.6 Pasteur Street). Accommodation and mealsAll lecturers will be accommodated at the University's Hotel situated in the central area of the city. Meals will be served at the University's Restaurant, situated at 15 minutes walk from the hotel. All costs involving accommodation and meals will be covered by the organizers.
